Hafiz Nursery is one of the largest business units of Hafiz Group of Companies (HGC). The primary purpose of the nursery is to provide enough plants and trees to landscape, the entire 30 acres of Hafiz Nursery. Surplus plants and trees are sold to other nearby nurseries and businesses. Intensive research is done on seeds and seedlings to increase the quality and output of plants and vegetation.

Two of the nursery’s most salient features are its Rose Gardens, featuring more than 100 rose varieties, and its Palm Trees, with more than two dozen palm tree varieties available. Araucaria is another specialty of Hafiz Nursery. Basically Araucaria are mainly large trees with a massive erect stem, reaching a height of 5–80 metres (16–262 ft). The horizontal, spreading branches grow in whorls and are covered with leathery or needle-like leaves.

The industry of growing flowers and other ornamental crops is mainly concentrated around the big cities: Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Multan, Faisalabad, and Quetta. Places such as Jhang near Faisalabad and location in the vicinity in Sahiwal near Sargodha district have assumed important because of growing sizable area under these crops. In Jhang, most of the flowers especially roses, gladioli, carnation, day lily etc. are grown at Hafiz Nursery for sale as cut flowers.
